I hope all you local folks (Southern CA) can make my CD release on Sunday, June 30th at Shepherd Of The Hills Church in Mission Viejo, CA. God bless you all and thanks for your love, encouragement and support.

I am excited to announce the release of my new music video, "Jesus In My Life", on January 22nd in anticipation of my upcoming album, To The Ends Of The Earth. The video will be released on my website as well as being on rotation for JCTV NETWORK. You can Watch JCTV if you live in the Southern California area over the air on Digital 40.3 or download the JCTV app where you can watch my video as well as other Christian artists such as Third Day, Mercy Me, and Chris Tomlin.

As of right now I'm busy singing and speaking as well as finishing up the final touches for my new album To The Ends Of The Earth! It has been 5 years in the making beginning with the writing of the song “Your Love (Hallelujah!)” in 2007 and ending with “Song Of Hope” in 2012. In that time, so much has changed. I have served on staff at 4 different churches and Sarah and I even expanded our family by one member in 2008 welcoming Elijah David Bardowell to join his older brothers Isaiah and Jonah. During that time, there is one thing that never changed and was constant throughout-God’s love for us and His guiding hand on our lives. He provided for us each step of the way-during times of great joy ("Your Love") and times of trial and sorrow ("Song Of Hope") He NEVER changed. All that said, this album is not about me, but rather, it’s about what the Lord has done for me. Our God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. My prayer is that these songs speak to and lift up and/or encourage the listener’s heart to persevere and keep trusting Him so that we can all help spread the good news of Christ to the ends of the earth. To God be the glory.

God bless you and I pray that 2013 brings you all your heart desires.

Philip Bardowell Music Update!

Hi friends :)
It's been a great year! The family is doing well and I started a new position as worship pastor at a great church 3 miles from our home. (an answer to prayer!)  I also did some great gigs with my old friends from the Beach Boys days (Surf City Allstars) and got to minister to kids at Christian schools in Nashville, Northern California and here in Southern California.  I just completed vocal tracks for the upcoming Northern Lights Orchestra album and launched a new music production company.  We recently did the soundtrack for an upcoming reality TV show on JCTV!  God is good :)

Also I have a new Music Video for my single "Jesus in My Life" that will be released on Youtube as well as different Television Networks in January 2013 in anticipation of my new album "To The Ends of The Earth”. The new album releases in Mid-February 2013. This has been a long time coming, and I can't wait to share these new songs with you.

Be blessed this Holiday Season and Happy New Year!

Fall to Rise - Philip Bardowell

WL Quicktip: With a surprising virtuosity and a heart driven toward ministry, Philip Bardowell is that rare find for your personal collection.
For anyone looking for an unsullied new artist with a big dose of gospel and pop passion and a vocal presence that seems to echo in your heart, Philip Bardowell is the next indie sensation from Southern California. His poppy hooks combined with slightly exotic gospel grooves surround the songs, which take turns glorifying God and encouraging listeners to drawing close to Him, on Fall to Rise.

At points he pulls tones that get close to the soul-filled acoustic rock of Hootie and the Blowfish and other times we get visions of the piano man with a backing trio of ooo-ers and ahh-ers. At anytime, it falls into place like only a record of great effect could. Bardowell emerged on the Christian scene fresh from the arena rock of the '90s, which saw him working with such artists as Peter Criss and Ace Frehley (KISS) and Carl Wilson (the Beach Boys) among many others. Now he has taken his seasoned ability and brought it to Fall to Rise. And even though this one is a bit more for personal worship, check out "Let Me Be Your Servant Today" for a congregational tune, which is also on Song DISCovery volume 66.
